Incomings

The International Relations Office assists incoming students with all administrative matters. Please note that within the framework of mobility programmes (Erasmus+/SEMP) you must be nominated by your home institution in advance in order to be able to apply for theoretical or practical courses at the health university of applied sciences tyrol. Incoming students are supported by a student buddy of the health university of applied sciences tyrol.

Application deadlines for exchange students:
15 May for the following winter semester, 31 October for the following summer semester

Students from partner universities also have the opportunity to apply for an internship organised by the health university of applied sciences tyrol. Further information is available upon request. Please send your enquiries to the International Relations Office.

Prerequisites

The language of instruction at the health university of applied sciences tyrol is German. Language skills of at least B2 level (depending on the degree programme) are therefore required. English-speaking internships can only be organised upon request.

Upon request and in special cases, low-cost accommodation is available at the campus of the health university of applied sciences tyrol. For information on this, please contact the International Relations Office.

Information on insurance

Every incoming student is obliged to pay the membership fee of the Austrian National Union of Students of approx. EUR 20,00. It includes a basic accident and liability insurance. Important information regarding insurance in Austria can be found here and here.
